Constitution of Ichapur Rifle Club:

 

· The Constitution of Ichapur Rifle Club (IRC) framed here under will be referred to as Rule viz. Rule2, Rule 3.1 and so on. IRC will be known as the club.

· The office address will be The Park, P.O. Ichapur-Nawabganj, North 24 Parganas, Pin -743144, West Bengal.

· The Club day will be observed in every year on the 30^th October.

· The insignia of the club shall be inscribed on a cloth of deep orange colour for the purpose of using as the flag of the club.

 

The objects of the Club will be:

 

· To popularize the use of Sporting Rifle and Sporting Pistol in and around the country as a whole.

· To promote and enhance the ability towards Sporting Rifle Shooting and Archery.

· To organize Coaching to improve the Marksmanship.

· To develop the fellow feeling, spirit of co-operation and better understanding within the members, also to develop the socioeconomic fabric through organizing competitions, social functions etc. to achieve National Integration.

 

Rights and Privileges of Member:

 

· To avail the club facilities under the prescribed norms.

· To attend the coaching camp training classes and regular target practice.

· To participate in the Zonal, Inter-Zonal, State or All India Shooting Competitions to be organised by competent authorities with due permission of the President.

 

Binding & Obligation of the Members:

 

· To abide by the club Rules and Regulations.

· To maintain absolute discipline inside as well as outside the club.

· No member shall criticize the administration of the club Executive Committee or any Office Bearer publicly which may jeopardize the dignity and prestige of the club. Any grievances against any office bearer or member may be submitted in writing through proper channel to the President of the club. Ruling given by the President on recommendation of Executive Committee will be final and binding to both the parties and in no way can be challenged or further represented. Every member, whosoever, shall be liable to accept the order of the Secretary, Club Manager, Range Master, Coach or any other official, who shall be in temporary charge of the Club/Range/Competition in connection of Shooting.

· No member whosoever shall without permission of the President or Secretary give any statement in respect of the clubaffairs in any printing or electronics media or anywhere.

· While using the club premises, range, equipments and library etc. it is binding upon all members to follow the club discipline and the safety rules and norms which may be modified from time to time by the club authority.

· Member must maintain the reputation and prestige of the club in and the outside the club premises and must not indulge in any kind of act or use any un-parliamentary language, inconsistence with the discipline of the organization.

· No member will be permitted to represent IchapurRifle Club, in any Shooting Championship without prior sanction of the President or Secretary.

 

Membership may cease or be cancelled on all or any of the following events:

 

· Memberfails to subscribe the monthly subscription consecutively for three months.

· On submission of resignation and its consequent acceptance.

· The dependent members i.e. spouse, son(s) or daughter (s) of the employee who are the members of the club will automatically cease their membership after discontinuation/cessation of the membership, for any reason, of the respective employee.

· If any member in the opinion of the executive committee or the President is found to be of unsound mind or has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or adjudged as an insolvent by the court of law or if the Indian Citizenship is ceased.

· Violation of any clause under section Binding & Obligation of the Members.

· In every matter the decision of the President will be final and binding upon all.

 

Suspension and Cessation of Members:

 

The executive committee will have the power to cease membership or suspend member(s) for an indefinite period without assigning any reason what so ever. The President of the club may debar any member to attend the club for serious breach of rules or for indiscipline conduct till such time the course of action taken against the defaulting member by the Administrative Council in next 15 days after cessation of suspension.

 

Interpretation of Rules:

 

The President is the sole authority to interpret any rule in case of dispute which will be binding upon all.

 

Jurisdiction of Court:

 

In the event of any court case arising out of any dispute, the same may be moved to only in the Barrackpore Sub-Division Court, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. No other lower court will have any jurisdiction in this regard.
